I am happy to see so many new faces this year in clinics for the Middle School lacrosse program. As parents to a new sport there are many questions about the game and rules . Below is a video that might answer some of your questions.
Welcome to RCS lacrosse The coaches would like to welcome the new players as well as the players from past seasons. As always we follow the school rules of conduct, grades, attendance and discipline. Parents please make sure that the Emergency contact and physical forms are handed in to coach Pete or the team manager Mrs Beeker . This form is for the coaches in case of emergency in the event the parents or guardians are not at a game or practice. As parents ourselves the safety of the players is of the upmost importance, and this information will help us help your child in your absence .
Thank You for your cooperation
2015 Varsity Schedule is posted
Anyone with old or extra lax gear they grew out of ( gloves ,arm guards , sticks ect ) that they are not using and would like to pay it forward to a new player that is just starting out please bring them to the clinics Thanks PETE

If you missed the meeting Tuesday....please take the time to read the following and sign up for REMIND. Details below.
Because of the A.C.T., the high school will not be able to participate in the tournamentOctober 25th & 26th. Thank you to all of you who responded quickly.
Big News! The lacrosse clinics will be held at RCS! The first clinic isthis Saturday 9/27. If it rains a lot or we have inclement weather, the location may change. It is imperative that you all sign up for REMIND, so you can get email OR text notices of these changes. (See below) Coach Daly is working on securing a second clinic location. I will let you know what that will be asap. Newbies, please wear shorts/sweats, t-shirt, and cleats (or sneakers). All players, if you have lax equipment you are willing to share bring it with you. If you don't have any equipment--no worries. We'll have some for you to borrow.
Remember to turn in your physical forms and the emergency contact information sheet (attached) to Coach Daly or Mrs. Beeker at the first clinic you attend. You have to have them both in order to participate. If you know it will expire mid season (anytime between January-June), please go ahead and get a $10 physical at MedAccess. They offer daytime, evening and weekend walk-in appointments. Forms are located in the school office or atwww.roxborocommunityschool.orgunder ATHLETICS. A parent must accompany their child to the appointment.
VERY IMPORTANT! The new "Remind" program allows you to receive texts OR emails. This is theONLY way I will communicate this year outside of the meeting minutes. Instructions are below if you lost your sheet.
